Lil Kim (born Kim Li) is an American rapper, songwriter as well as model and music maker. Megan Anna Rapinoe grew up in California, Redding. The place she was born on the 5th of July 1985. She began to play soccer when she was just a small child and her abilities improved in her teenage years. Rachael, her twin sister, and her were all students at the University of Portland together. Megan Rapinoe was a star in the team's soccer program at the University of Portland, and was among the top scorers in collegiate women's soccer across the United States. However an injury to her knee forced her to miss a portion of seasons in her sophomore and junior years. She returned to soccer full-time as a senior and started every game that season. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in science in sociology from University of Portland, graduating in the year 2008. Rapinoe started her professional soccer career in 2009, when the Chicago Illinois Red Stars, a newly-formed Women's Professional Soccer WPS League team, drafted Rapinoe. She played there until late 2010, when the team was disbanded. Rapinoe was a part of with the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Independence for a brief period before being transfered in Boca Raton Florida. After just eight games, Rapinoe scored two goals, helping the MagicJack to finish third in the division. At the end of 2011, the magicJack folded and in early 2012, so did WPS. Rapinoe began participating with the Australian W-League with Sydney Football Club FC prior to moving back into her home in the United States. Next, she played with the Seattle Washington Sounders Women (now the Sound FC). The 2013 season of Rapinoe was playing soccer in France. Later, she became a member of the National Women's Soccer League NWSL (formerly the WPS) that was formed as a response to the WPS's dissolution. Rapinoe became one of the top scorers of her team. She eventually rose to become the captain. She was part of the U.S. Olympic female soccer team which competed during the Olympics in London England. Rapinoe led the United States Olympic Women's Soccer Team to gold in London, the United Kingdom. Rapinoe scored several game-winning goals or assists. The second Olympics took place in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, in the year 2016. The U.S. squad was eliminated from the competition in Rio. Rapinoe's debut at the FIFA Women's World Cup took place in the year 2011. In the years 2015 and 2019 her contribution to the U.S. Women's World Cup winning team to win consecutive World Cups. In 2018, she was cocaptain of the national team. Rapinoe scored two goals as United States beat Australia 4-3 in the bronze-medal game during the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. Japan had been put off from participating in the Olympics until 2021 due COVID-19, a pandemic.
